This vintage rug was handwoven by the artisans of Ben Guerir which is a village within the Rhamna province. 

Located an hour north of Marrakech this rug technique is more known by the colors they use than the specific knot technique. 

This style of rug is hand-knotted utilizing local sheep wool and vibrant dyes which create earthy reds.

This timeless piece represents generations of tradition and symbolism. With simple geometric diamond shapes against bold colors these pieces radiate beauty.

You will find some light fraying on either end due the rug’s lifespan, but with proper care, this rug will endure for decades to come.
