A fine quality late 20th century vintage animal motif chain necklace. The necklace is crafted in 18k gold, and ten ruby beads adorn the chains between the animal motifs. Five animals (elephant, giraffe, monkey, mountain goat and horse) are beautifully detailed, and the twisted hoop that each animal is sitting on is accentuated with a small diamond. And the animals are depicted in double-sided. The clasp is original, and there is '750' mark for 18k gold, and '★ (star) 308 AR', the Italian gold mark (year 1968 - date) & AR (Arezzo).
