Rare vintage short robe or smock of 100% cotton with a stylized Mexican print in bright Bakelite colors of red, blue, yellow and green- oh so forties! It features long puffed sleeves with button close cuffs. It has a smocked elastic waist band so it has give and is gathered at the waist on top and bottom. It closes with larger celluloid buttons , 2 at the top and 2 at the waist.

The vertical buttonhole pockets are trimmed with red cotton piping, which matches the stitching in the smocking and the round yoke. Unlined. This has never been worn and is crisp and new though 70 years old! A real find of the era!
